Banks, cards, cash.
One picture.

Upload a statement from any bank in Serbia. Saldo reads it, sorts it into categories and shows you where your money really goes, month after month. No bank password and no access to your account: just a file you already have.

14 days free, no card. Works with statements from every bank in Serbia.

How it works

Three steps, nothing to set up.

1

Download a statement

From your bank's app, as a PDF or XML. For a whole month, any period, and as far back as you like: a year, two, everything your bank keeps.

2

Drop it into Saldo

Drag the file onto the page. Saldo reads it, checks that the balance adds up line by line, and puts every transaction into a category.

3

See your month

Where the money went, how much came in, what's left. If Saldo doesn't recognise something, it asks you once and remembers the answer.

What you get

These are the screens I use every day. No bank gives you them for all your accounts at once.

Where the money went

Every month by category, with each one's share in percent. One tap and you see the transactions behind the number.

Every category, every month

One table: categories in rows, months in columns, and the change from last month marked in red or green.

Wallet

Cash from the ATM doesn't vanish into "other". The wallet keeps a balance, you note the coffee and the taxi, and every now and then you count what's left and Saldo corrects itself.

Split bills

You pay for dinner and your friends send you half. Note what they paid back and only your share stays in the category.

Bills still to come

Electricity, Infostan, phone, the car loan. Saldo knows what was paid last month and shows what hasn't come in yet this month.

Your own categories

Add "Kids" or "Dog" when you need them. Tell Saldo once where a cost belongs and it remembers it for every one after.

One of my months

This is my September, rounded. Several accounts, cards and 10,000 dinars from the ATM. Before Saldo I was sure restaurants were my biggest cost.

145,000 RSD

Restaurants were nine percent. Almost a quarter went on my business, about as much again on my flat-rate tax and the car loan. You can't see that in any bank's app, because each one only sees itself.

Business24%
Flat-rate tax and contributions22%
Car loan18%
Restaurants and cafés9%
Gifts8%
Phone, internet, electricity, Infostan12%
Everything else7%

Why not what you already have

Your bank's app only sees that bank. Cash, your other card and your other account don't exist for it.

A spreadsheet works for as long as you feel like typing. By the second month that feeling is usually gone.

Foreign apps don't know what an IPS payment is, or a flat-rate contribution, or a dinar at the NBS rate, and Serbian banks aren't on their list.

Saldo was built here, for the statements Serbian banks actually send.

Privacy, plainly

Saldo doesn't ask for your bank password and never goes into your account. It only reads the file you give it.

Your statements and data sit on Saldo's own server (in the US, the details are on the Privacy page), kept apart from everyone else's, and one button deletes them, down to the last line.

I don't sell data, I don't show ads and I don't give your transactions to anyone. If any of that ever changes, it will say so here before it happens.

Works with every bank in Serbia

Saldo doesn't read the bank, it reads the statement. Every statement shows the balance after each transaction, and Saldo only accepts a line when the balance agrees with the one before. That's why it doesn't care which bank it comes from.

Raiffeisenmonthly and daily statement
Banca Intesamonthly statement and a transaction report for any period
Erstemonthly statement
AIK, OTP, UniCredit, NLB Komercijalna, Poštanska štedionica, Yettel bankaand any other: the monthly statement from the app or e-banking

If a statement doesn't pass the check, Saldo keeps it, tells you what didn't add up, and I sort it out. Nothing is counted until it matches to the dinar.

Questions everyone asks

Does Saldo have access to my bank account?

No. I never ask for your e-banking password and Saldo never connects to your bank. You download a statement from your app and upload it. That's all Saldo ever sees.

Which files can I upload?

The PDF statement your bank sends you or that you download from the app, XML if your bank offers it, and for Intesa also the transaction report for any period you choose. Photos and scanned paper, not yet.

Does it work with my bank?

Yes, if your bank gives you a statement with the balance after each transaction, and every bank in Serbia does. If a line doesn't add up, Saldo doesn't count it, tells you what's off, and I sort it out.

How is cash counted?

Taking money out of an ATM isn't spending, it's money moving from the bank to your wallet. You note what you spend in a couple of seconds, and when you count what you really have, Saldo corrects the balance and shows the difference as spent without a note.

Is it in English?

Yes. The app is in Serbian and English. Coming from this page it opens in English, and the SR / EN button switches it any time. The emails Saldo sends you (your sign-in link, reminders) follow the same choice.

How much does it cost?

The first 14 days are free, no card. After that a monthly or yearly subscription, paid by scanning an IPS QR code in your bank's app. Everything about it is on the pricing page.

Can I delete everything?

Yes, with one button, and it really deletes everything: statements, transactions, categories, wallet. No emails to write and nothing to wait for.

Milica

Who's behind Saldo

I'm Milica. I have several banks, cards, cash and a business, and for years I had no single picture of where it all went. So I built Saldo for myself. What you see in the screenshots is my real account, my real months.

In 2022 I was completely broke. Once I finally saw where my money went and gave savings their own place, everything changed. Today I have over $70,000 saved, across my banks and investments.

Now I'm opening it to others too. If something doesn't work for you, write to me and I'll fix it.

For the past couple of years I've also been doing financial coaching, and I really enjoy it. If you need help with your finances, email me at info@saldofinansije.com and we'll schedule a session.
