Terms of use
These are the rules between you and me while you use Saldo. They are written to be understood without a lawyer. When you create an account, you accept them.
1. Who provides the service
Saldo is provided by Milica Tešić PR, registration number (matični broj) 68065615, tax number (PIB) 115064324. Contact: info@saldofinansije.com.
2. What Saldo is
Saldo is an app that reads the statements you upload from your bank, sorts the transactions into categories and shows you your balance and spending by month. Saldo doesn't access your bank account, doesn't make payments and doesn't receive money on your behalf.
Saldo doesn't give financial, tax or investment advice. It shows what is in your statements. You make the decisions about your money.
3. Account
- You create an account with a name and an email address. You sign in with a link sent to that email, so it matters that only you have access to that mailbox.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You upload only statements for your own accounts, or for accounts whose owner has agreed.
4. Free trial and price
- The first 14 days after you create your account are free, with every feature, no card and no commitment.
- After that the subscription is 999 RSD a month or 9,999 RSD a year. These are final prices: I am not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged (Article 33 of the Value Added Tax Act).
- I may change the price. A new price applies only from the next period you pay for, and you get an email about the change at least 30 days in advance.
5. Payment
- You pay by bank transfer, by scanning an IPS QR code in your bank's app. The code already contains the amount, purpose and your payment reference.
- Nothing is taken automatically and no card is stored. You pay for each period yourself, when it suits you.
- Your account is switched on when the payment arrives, by the next working day at the latest, and you get an email about it. A payment without the exact payment reference is matched by hand, so it may take longer.
- You get an invoice for every payment.
- If you pay before your period ends, the new period follows on from the old one, so nothing is lost.
6. When your subscription ends
- A reminder arrives a week and a day before it ends.
- From the first day without payment your account is paused: after signing in you only see the payment page. Your data stays untouched.
- After 7 days your account is frozen. Still nothing is deleted, and everything comes back as soon as you pay.
- After 12 months frozen the data is deleted, with two warning emails before that.
- At any time, even without paying, you can download all your data.
7. Stopping and refunds
For the first 14 days you use Saldo free, with every feature, so you can see whether it suits you before you pay anything.
After 14 days you are under no obligation to pay. If you pay, a new period starts on the day of payment: 30 days for the monthly and 365 days for the yearly subscription. When the period ends, you pay again to continue.
A paid period is not refunded, except where the law expressly requires it. Before paying you confirm that you want Saldo to start straight away; if within 14 days of payment you exercise your legal right of withdrawal, only the part of the payment for the unused days is refunded.
You can stop whenever you like: simply don't pay for the next period. Nothing is taken automatically, so nothing is charged without your own payment.
8. Accuracy
Saldo checks every line it reads against the account balance on the statement, and doesn't accept a statement that doesn't add up. Even so, sorting into categories is automatic and can be wrong, and some banks' statements may be read incompletely. You can change the category of any transaction. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your finances and tax returns, based on your bank statements.
9. Availability
I do my best to keep Saldo running all the time, but I can't guarantee there will never be an interruption, for example for maintenance or a server fault. I announce planned interruptions in advance where possible.
10. Liability
I am not liable for decisions you make based on what Saldo shows. For everything else I am liable in accordance with the law.
11. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account whenever you like, on the Statements page. I may close an account that is used against these terms, for example for someone else's statements without their consent, after notifying you by email and giving you the chance to download your data first.
12. Changes to the terms
If the terms change, the new version is published here, and you get an email about important changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. If you have a complaint, write to me first at info@saldofinansije.com. If we can't agree, you can start out-of-court dispute resolution before a body on the list kept by the ministry responsible for consumer protection. By law the trader is obliged to take part in that procedure. You can also go to the court for the place where you live.
How I keep your data is on the Privacy page.
