How to download your transactions and upload them to Saldo

You don't have to wait for the end of the month. The monthly statement arrives once a month, but you can download a transaction report whenever you like, for any period, and Saldo reads it just the same.

The example below is from the Banca Intesa app. For now Saldo reads transactions from Intesa; from other banks you upload the monthly statement, which Saldo reads from every bank in Serbia.

Monthly statement

The bank sends it once a month. It shows the balance after every transaction, so Saldo checks it line by line.

Transaction report

Download it whenever you like, even halfway through a month. It has no balance, so Saldo keeps its lines as provisional. When you upload the monthly statement, Saldo matches them to it, and your answers and categories stay.

Step by step

Screenshots are from the Intesa app on an iPhone, October 2026. The app is in Serbian; the English meaning is in brackets. On Android the screens can look a little different, but the buttons are the same. Numbers and names in the screenshots are hidden.

Open the Intesa app. On the home screen, next to Transakcije (transactions), tap Vidi sve (see all).

Detalji računa (account details) opens. To the right of the magnifying glass, tap the icon with sliders: the filters.

Open Vremenski (time period) and choose the period you need, for example the current month. Then tap Primeni (apply).

You are back on the transaction list for that period. To the left of the magnifying glass, tap the page icon with a down arrow.

Choose Izvezi u pdf (export to PDF) and save the file to your phone. Saldo reads PDF, so skip Excel.

Open Saldo, and on the home screen, in the green bar at the top, tap + Upload (+ Ubaci when Saldo is in Serbian, as in the screenshot). Pick the PDF you just saved. The transactions show up straight away.

Tip

Download the report once a week, say on Sunday evening. In a couple of minutes you see where the money went this week, instead of finding out when the month is over. When the monthly statement arrives, upload it too, so Saldo confirms every line.
